Vitamin D Lab test

Posted by Dr. Michael on March 4th, 2010

I’ve written about vitamin D, and how 75% of us are deficient in it.  While I use muscle testing to find out if a person needs vitamin D, a blood test is necessary to find out how much a person is deficient.  Unfortunately, if you don’t have the "right" insurance, this blood test can be costly. Fortunately, you can shop around and order blood tests yourself. An example that I just saw is Directlabs, who is offering this test for only $39 during the month of March.
