Can Car Accidents cause a Heart Attack?

A couple of years ago in a seminar entitled: The TMJ-Whiplash Connection, my instructor stated that she sees an increase in heart attacks after auto injuries. The force from the accident will traumatize the ligaments suspending the heart. This weakness puts a strain on the heart (as well as the neck and upper back) that can lead to an increase chance of a heart attack.

We learned a technique to reduce the strain on the heart ligaments after injury.
